You might think on a sophisticated automobile that can reach as far as your heart’s desires, then we will introduce to you the 2009 Honda CR-V is largely unchanged. This five-passenger compact SUV is available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Trim levels include LX, EX, and top-line EX-L with leather upholstery. All have a 166-hp 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is 1500 lb. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. A power driver seat and dual-zone automatic climate control are standard on EX-L. A navigation system is also available on EX-L. Versions so equipped are priced as separate models. Among utility vehicles, Compact SUVs are typically the least costly and offer the best fuel economy. Most utilize a car-type chassis and are not designed for heavy-duty, off-road use. Nearly all are five-passenger vehicles; some offer seating for seven.

The CR-V’s jack-of-all-trades nature has kept it competitive, even as newer models have debuted. As long as you don’t mind the leisurely acceleration, you can’t go wrong with the 2009 Honda CR-V.

On the outside the CX-7 receives refreshed front and rear fascias and on the inside there new gauges and higher quality materials. A Blind Spot Monitoring system is also available. While most of the automotive press is focusing their attention on the Chicago Auto Show, Mazda chose to unveil the refreshed 2010 Mazda CX-7 at the 2009 Canadian International Auto Show.

Be surprised of “The fluently dynamic form of the car is unique, it looks like having a lot of power, even when standing still,” admits the managing director and therewith he raises the bar for his engineers and designers. The optical features do not obviate technical sophistications but, on the contrary, lead to perfection clearly show the contours of the Abt R8. Front skirt, side skirts, and rear skirt form a unit in which the rear wing, the side blades and also the exhaust system are harmonically integrated.

Part of it’s Global warming is the intense used of carbon monoxide from other recreational vehicles but some engineers has brought wonderful to the whole consumers and the public with their newest designs. This car that can run on biofuels can still run on fossil fuels, so without a good supply of sustainable biofuels, that’s probably how they’re going to be used. But still, a step in the right direction. Their plan is to make their whole car lineup petroleum free in 7 years. To do that, they’re looking at battery electric cars, fuel cells, and more efficient combustion engines that can run on biofuels (lets hope that by then we have truly sustainable ethanol and biodiesel).

According to Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche, Mercedes will have an electric car by 2010, as well as a an electric Smart (there’s already 100 Smart EVs being tested in London). But Zetsche also thinks that this is not the end of the line for the combustion engine, and that new developments in that field will overlap with electric drive technologies. Currently, MB has about 100 electric Smart cars driving around the streets of London. But those are more or less to see how the public reacts to them and to see how they hold up in real world conditions.

The speculation is over and the rumors are true. Mercedes-Benz is planning to launch an all-new electric model in 2010.

The engine has been upgraded with a new supercharger while the interior also gets a revamp. The stock wheels, for instance, were swapped with ultra-light forged units, while many of the car’s body parts were replaced with lighter carbon-fiber pieces.One component of the new bodykit is the front apron, which has been designed to channel air to a pair of uprated intercoolers mounted behind the front bumper.
