After the unveiling of its latest 2013 A3’s stunning interior at the recent Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Audi has declared its presence at this year’s CeBIT in Hanover, Germany.

Audi is represented at CeBIT for the first time with a dedicated exhibition stand. Appearing at the world’s biggest trade fair for information technology under the “Audi connect” banner, the brand presented its current and future solutions for mobile IT applications. One highlight is the next generation of the Audi A3 – the first model from the carmaker that uses the modular infotainment platform. With the Audi Urban Future Initiative, the carmaker is also presenting concepts for individual mobility in the city of the future.

At the start of the year, Audi documented its leading role in automotive infotainment at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. At CeBIT, the brand with the four rings is presenting its innovations to the European public.

Axel Strotbek, Board Member for Finance and Organization at AUDI AG, will present the opening remarks on March 8 at the “automotiveDay” event associated with the trade fair, and will describe the company’s infotainment and IT strategy.

The name “Audi Connect” describes the fully networked mobility of Audi–that is, the networking of Audi models with the Internet, with the surrounding infrastructure, and with other vehicles.

The new A3, meanwhile, will be the first model from Audi to feature the automaker’s latest modular infotainment platform. The platform will allow Audi to introduce new hardware and software components to cars in shorter development cycles.

The Audi Urban Future Initiative is also being presented at CeBIT as part of the new Urban Solutions exhibitor area. Five international concepts are being presented that deal with future urban challenges and trends surrounding the theme of megacities and mobility. They were presented previously as part of the first Audi Urban Future Award. With the second Audi Urban Future Award in 2012, Audi will once again enter into dialog on the issue of “The City and Mobility of Tomorrow,” and will be promoting interdisciplinary interaction.

Whenever Audi released a new ‘RS’ car you can almost be certain that it’ll be an incredible performance car. The current RS5, which is set to be facelifted in the coming months, has already made its mark on the automotive industry, but Audi isn’t prepared to stop there.

Just after the brand new Audi RS3 made its online debut a couple weeks back, new images have been leaked of its bigger brother, the RS4 Avant. Just like the majority of new ‘RS’ cars released, the RS4 is being previewed in Avant, or wagon form with a sedan version also expected in the next 12 months.
Ok, let’s get onto the details, shall we? Well first off, and most importantly, the RS4 Avant is powered by the same 450 horsepower, 4.2-liter V-8 engine from the RS5 and is good for a 0-62 mph sprint time of 4.7 seconds and an impressive top speed of 175 mph.
This powerful engine will be mated to Audi’s awesome S-tronic gearbox, and will feature a two inch lower ride height over the standard A4 range. In addition to these modifications, the RS4 Avant features a bespoke interior as well as an aggressively-styled exterior, which includes new bumpers, a new grille, new splitters and new 10-spoke wheels.

A two inch lower ride height, S-tronic gearbox, top speed of 175 mph, available Dynamic Ride Control suspension, and unique RS4 exterior and interior design round out the additions for the newest model–so far. We expect more complete details to become available soon.

Audi is likely to preview the RS5 Avant at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in just over one month’s time, and along with the release, additional new details and specifications will be revealed.

Audi automaker has recently revealed their more powerful TT-RS Plus. The Audi TT-RS Plus has improved its output to 360 HP (265 kW) which is a boost of 20 HP (15 kW) and torque is 465 Nm (343 lb-ft), 15 Nm (11 lb-ft) more than the regular TT-RS

Uprated four-piston fixed calipers and perforated brake discs are installed on the front axle, sitting behind 19-inch alloy wheels, which are painted black with contrasting red rims. Audi’s magnetic ride active damping system is available as an option, while the large, fixed rear wing is standard, creating extra downforce.

The radiator grille is made of highly polished anthracite and is bordered by matte aluminium. The dual-branch exhaust features black oval tailpipes and includes a sound flap to intensify the sound of the engine.

Audi Australia’s Shaun Cleary says the local brand is currently investigating the car and assessing its feasibility for our market. He suggested a late-2012 launch would not be out of the question in a best-case scenario situation, but insisted no decision had been made at this time.

The ABT Sportsline car tuner has recently uncovered their latest tuning package for Audi A5. The tuning package includes a body kit that includes a front spoiler, revised side skirts, ventilated fenders, a rear diffuser and a trunk-mounted spoiler.

The 2.0-liter TFSI engine can be tuned to produce 270 PS (199 kW / 266 hp) instead of the usual 211 PS (155 kW / 208 hp).

The A5 is a fast coupe and a comfortable travel companion to begin with. But in its ABT Sportsline version this extravagant car is even more sporty. The latest edition of the ABT AS5 combines a precise and harmonious design with dynamic technology. “For us, it was important to combine this car’s extraordinary design with our ideas and thus to underscore the car’s character. Its increased performance and its body parts form a unit”, says Hans-Jürgen Abt. The traditional Bavarian company’s managing director is very excited about this automobile. “If you look at the AS5, you want to take in every inch of its marvellous silhouette, and if you sit in it, all you want is to get it on the road. This coupé is really a power pack.“

This sports car in its “tailor-made suit” is so much fun to drive because it has undergone a real ABT Sportsline treatment. The car is always assertive and second to none: ABT POWER turns the 3.0l diesel engine from its original 245 hp (180 kW) to a torquey 300 hp (221 kW). For the 2.0 TFSI, it is a dynamic 270 hp or 199 kW (original version: 211 hp/155 kW). Other engine variants are being developed and will be presented at a later stage.

To be sure, this additional ABT POWER also has to be put on the road. So a lowered suspension has been geared to the AS5, which make for a very effective lowering of the car’s centre of gravity – in visual terms, too. This is part of the overall design concept. Front spoiler, side skirts, fender inserts, rear skirt insert, rear spoiler and the typical four-pipe exhaust system make the chic ABT appear unobtrusively assertive from wherever you look at it. As an ideal complementary feature, ABT recommends the CR Silverlight or DR alloy wheels. Depending upon your taste, they will underscore either the new ABT AS5’s sportiness or its elegance. And in visual terms they are fully in line with the sport braking system, which is available with discs of 345 or 380mm in diameter.

The new ABT AS5 has been developed by the globally largest tuner of cars produced by the Volkswagen Group, with its designers and engineers making no compromises. After all, what driver of this unique coupe would want to make compromises? “They want a maximum of automotive sophistication, dynamism, roadworthiness, design and assertiveness”, Hans-Jürgen Abt says. So the new AS5 is a benchmark five times over!

We posted about the gorgeous Audi R8 back in 2009 and I think this models rocks because Audi is revving it up this 2012 with the Audi 2012 R8 GT which is priced at about 200,000 bucks.

Audi of America established prices for the limited-production 2012 Audi R8 GT starting at $196,800 at the launch of sales in the U.S. market. The Audi R8 GT is the lightest, fastest and most powerful entry in the Audi supercar lineup, which has won global acclaim. Only 333 Audi R8 GT models will be produced worldwide, with 90 slated for U.S. buyers.

Audi A8 2009 model has been overshadowed by the new 2010 Audi A8 Hybrid. This new Audi baby was pretty much flaunted at the 80th Geneva Motor Show, where the Hybrid’ technology concept which combines direct fuel injection with turbocharging and the AVS Audi valvelift system, have captured the curiosity of die-hard car fans. And with Audi A8′s impressive four-cylinder unit technology, which has been named as the “Engine of the Year” five times consecutively since 2005, the 2010 Audi A8 Hybrid is gonna make a splash in the car and automotive realm.

If you love the Audi R8 because of its sleek appearance and power, then you will all the more love this new baby – Audi R8 Spyder.

Its predecessor only blasts at V8 but this new Audi machine boasts of its V10 power and stunning looks. It will be available in flagship 518bhp 5.2-litre V10 engined form, and the option of a six-speed manual or semi-automatic R-tronic gearbox.
