The popular car manufacturer Ford has revealed their newest convertible namely the Ford 2013 Shelby GT500 Convertible at the Chicago Auto Show. The Ford GT500 Convertible generates 650 hp (485 kW / 659 PS) and 600 lb-ft (813 Nm) of torque enabling the open-top model to lap Sebring International Raceway 3.5 seconds quicker.

Car tuner Geiger Cars has modified the Ford Mustang 2011 by adding a twin-screw supercharger of 2.3 liters in volume to the standard 5.0 liter V8 in order to provide a car that is supercharged and is highly reliable. The stats of the newly tuned car is now up to 497 PS (366 kW) and 634 Nm (468 lb-ft) from the series 412 (303 kW) and 529 Nm (390 lb-ft) of torque.

Features of the tuned 2011 Ford Mustang:

In connection with other technical improvements, this conversion leads to a performance increase from once 412 to now 497 HP available at 6,400 rpm. 4,200 rotations already lead to a torque of 634 Newton metres (series 529 Nm at 4,250 rpm). With this performance upgrade, GeigerCars.de removes the Mustang’s factory-set Vmax lock. It now has a maximum speed of 274 km/h after an acceleration orgy through the six levels of its automatic gear.

For best driving dynamics, GeigerCars.de gave the US-Boy both a sports chassis and extremely light OZ Ultraleggera light-metal wheel rims at a size of 8.5×20 and 10×20 inches. While 245/35R20 high-performance tires indicate direction, the drive axle uses 285/30R20 rubber tires to dig into the asphalt.

Prices for the car are as follows:

• Basis vehicle: 42,900 Euro
• Performance increase: 12,990 Euro

Chassis enhancements
Laguna Seca cars are powered by the same smooth, high-winding 440-hp 5.0-liter V8 as the standard Boss, since the engine was already tuned specifically for road racing. Instead, engineers turned their attention toward delivering power to the ground most efficiently, and getting the car around a track in the quickest possible time.

Styling evokes racing, improves aerodynamics
As a race car should, Boss 302 models with the Laguna Seca package look like nothing else on the road. A bright red C-stripe offsets either Black or Ingot Silver paint, and is complemented by a red roof panel. Red also sets off the front grille, mirror caps and rear pedestal spoiler, while Laguna Seca rear badging and unique two-tone red and silver wheels complete the transformation.

This new-generation car made its world debut at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. It will spearheads Ford’s new generation of global C-cars, based on a common platform that will underpin up to 10 vehicles around the world. Production of the new cars will simultaneously being in Europe and North America in late 2010 for sale in early 2011.

The 2010 Ford Taurus incorporates styling used in Ford’s European cars specifically the presence of a large lower-bumper opening. Highlighting the sleek theme are the slim headlights and trapezoidal grille.

Taurus’ new interior styling is pretty remarkable. The blue backlighting and a sleek central control panel is just what everyone who loves cars wants to have. The materials used are obviously of very high quality on par with what’s in the MKS. The Taurus’ backseat is spacious and features some of the softest seat cushions around.
