Revealing the new 2013 lexus RX 450H. Expected To be seen at the next Geneva Motor Show. This great car will surely attract car enthusiasts because of its combined power and stylish look.

Note, this is the first time that Lexus is attaching its F-Sport title, and all the subtle performance upgrades that come with it, to a hybrid. The move is part of Lexus’ continued effort to show that hybrid vehicles can be sporty.

The Nissan automaker’s latest X-Trail is a compact SUV/crossover that’s sold in most markets outside of the United States and Canada. Now we get the Nissan Rogue, which gives you an idea of the X-Trail’s size and capabilities.

While the current X-Trail is a conservative box-on-box design, Nissan is teasing what it calls the Hi-Cross concept, which is likely to preview the next X-Trail model.

If that’s the case, the X-Trail looks like it will get a healthy dose of style for its new generation.

We’ll have to wait until the 2012 Geneva Motor Show for more images of the Hi-Cross concept, but a few unofficial details have already surfaced. As Autocar explains, the new X-Trail is expected to come in both front-wheel and all-wheel-drive configurations, and will be equipped with better on-road manners than the previous generation.

The change is deliberate, as Nissan plans to target the next X-Trail against conventional sedans like the Ford Mondeo and Vauxhall Insignia. It will also pitch the new X-Trail against Ford’s S-Max crossover, which will require the new Nissan to come in both five- and seven-seat configurations.

The primary engine choice is said to be a 2.0-liter diesel, with smaller diesel and gasoline-powered options available as well. We can expect the new X-Trail to launch in Europe in the third quarter of 2013, but it’s unlikely the new crossover will make it to these shores.

This new car from Jaguar automaker, XF Sportbrake is set for debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next week and images have been leaked beforehand.

However, unlike Ferrari’s new supercar, or the stunning Emerg-E from Infiniti, Jaguar’s own teaser images along with our previous spy shots pretty much let the cat out of the bag months ago.

Nevertheless, the latest crop of images, found by Autocar, does reveal some never before seen details such as the new tail-lamps, rear door design, and complete profile.

The images also show that the new XF Sportbrake will be almost identical to the XF sedan from the B-pillars forward, ensuring it will be one of the most stylish wagons on the market. Inside, the rear seats fold down to provide a flat load space, which appears quite large and should prove handy on those trips to IKEA.

Expect the engine lineup to mirror that of the regular XF sedan, though it’s unclear if a high-performance XFR Sportbrake will be launched. The tamer versions should include sporty V-8 variants in the U.S., including a 5.0-liter V-8 developing 385 horsepower in the base version and a supercharged version of this engine with 470 horsepower on tap in a sportier variant.

The Chevrolet automaker has declared its latest 2012 Camaro ZL1 that will offer an awesome six-speed automatic transmission with a new upgraded TapShift function.

Thanks to a new software algorithm, the tap response times have been improved by up to 60 percent. It works by “staging hydraulic pressure in the clutch for the next gear” change which helps to reduce the tap delay for the 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, and 4-5 up-shifts by 200-300 milliseconds.
This enables the coupe – which features a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine with 580 hp (432 kW / 588 PS) and 556 lb-ft (754 Nm) of torque – to accelerate from 0-60 in 3.9 seconds which is a tenth of a second faster than models with the six-speed manual.
The upgraded system will also used on the 2012 Corvette and will eventually be equipped to all vehicles with the TapShift function.
As we have previously reported, the Camaro ZL1 will start arriving at dealerships this spring and pricing starts at $54,095. The aforementioned TapShift transmission is an optional extra and costs $1,185.

It will use a mid-engine layout, and it will be powered by a range-extended electric drivetrain.

As if launching an extended-range electric performance car wasn’t significant enough, Infiniti vice president Andy Palmer says that the car will also be the first to highlight Infiniti’s new styling direction.

While Infiniti had attempted to drip-feed us details and images of the Emerg-E in the lead up to the concept’s Geneva debut, French website Automoto managed to find some patent drawings a few weeks back and now, thanks to Carscoop, the cat has fully been let out of the bag.

It isn’t known if the Emerg-E will be rear-drive or all-wheel-drive, nor are there any guesses on range or power output. Infiniti has also stated that it wants a halo car, and one possible direction would be to build such a statement piece as an electric vehicle. The other route, of course, is to base it on the Nissan GT-R.

We suspect that Infiniti will pencil in some of the details on the Emerg-E at Geneva, but we’d be very surprised if the automaker referred to the car as anything other than a concept. We’ll update you on anything we learn as part of our comprehensive Geneva Motor Show coverage.

The BMW automaker is continuously improving its M Division by newly creating a series of new performance-oriented vehicles fitted with exclusive M-tuned engines, handling packs, and stylish bodykits.

Called the M Performance range, the new models aren’t set to debut officially until March’s Geneva Motor Show although we’ve already been given a preview of three of them.

BMW has now previewed yet another M Performance model, this time in concept form and based around the latest 1-Series Hatchback (the new three-door variant).

However, the M Performance concept is not based on just any old 1-Series but the highly anticipated 135i variant, which sports a 3.0-liter straight-six engine turbocharged to the tune of 300 horsepower.

Set to debut in just a few weeks, this M135i Concept has been fully developed using the expertise gained by the BMW M division from decades of motorsport experience. This is reflected not only in the powertrain but also in the modified suspension technology and aerodynamic characteristics.

Other M-specific components include an upgraded braking system, 18-inch M light alloys, and some additional weight-saving carbon fiber mods. To further distinguish it from the regular 1-Series, the M135i Concept’s exterior mirror caps are finished in a custom gray color and the side window surrounds get a gloss shadow look.

BMW’s official spiel on the latest concept is that it offers attractive prospects for the further development of the 1-Series Hatchback. However, the automaker states that it also gives a clear signal for the expansion of the new product category of M Performance models, and we’ve already spotted a prototype testing.

If that wasn’t enough dilution of the M brand, BMW also plans to launch a new range of M Performance Parts at the Geneva Motor Show, including items designed for the 1-Series Hatchback as well as the 3- and 5-Series sedans.

While our American readers may lament BMW’s decision not to bring over its new 1-Series Hatchback to U.S. soil, there’s a good chance that the next-generation 1-Series Coupe and Convertible, which may or may not be called a 2-Series, will offer the same M-tuned upgrades.
